I honestly loved this game. You got the buildup to the first jumpscare perfectly and everything after was just the icing on top. The game didn't overstay its welcome and ended nicely. I honestly was too scared to do much after the first jumpscare. This was a unique idea for a "choose your adventure" style game, in my opinion. Can't wait to see what else you have!

Only issue I had was I got so scared by the first jumpscare that I wasn't able to fully read the "get a new fuse" text. Probably more of an issue with me to be honest but I had no idea the fuse would look the way it does, actually had to watch someone else play to get past that part lol.

Aside from those minor issues and the fairly bad performance, I had a great time! I think I'll be checking out your other game as well. Thanks for making it!

I gotta say, this was really good, but after 4 bad endings in a row, granted I didn't get the office one, I gave up. I watched the reply below that found both, and I'd say in the future definitely try to at least hint at how to get the secret object/objective, it wasn't obvious to run (well, walk) around clicking things and fumbling in the dark to find the secret notes.

Who knew that exchanging letters with a complete stranger might lead to this!

This caught my eye after looking for some scary games to play one night. My friend and I played it together and it scared the shit out of us. Thanks for the experience; we hope to see more in the future.

The game really had me scared and screaming for my life. I never want another pen pal. 

Firstly I loved the black and white graphics. Really underused in horror games and I really appreciated it. Played a game called "Leftovers" which was also black and white and these 2 games will stick in my memory now.

Very scary too, and I enjoyed the mechanic of the choice of replies!

How do I turn down graphics? my computer isnt the best so when I try to play its like a slide show

It is a simple but very entertaining game with a particular plot. I liked the two little scares that there have been and in fact, i would have liked to see some more. As a criticism or recommendation, I would suggest adding a little more playable part that is like the ending. Although I generally liked it.

Since my computer is being super rude to this game I just wanna say that after seeing kubz scouts play that this is an epic game. Really loved it and that jumpscare actually got me lmao. Can't wait to see more of what you have in store in the future.

I had a lot of fun playing your game! The only thing I can criticize (Like you asked) is at the end of the game, the jumpscare sound absolutely destroyed my eardrums. Loud noises aren't bad, but high-pitched loud noises are one thing that annoys me about horror games. You can be scary without giving me hearing aids. Other than that, it was a great experience!

the game crashes everytime i click on start

I absolutely loved this game first game I've added to my favorites on itch.io I was kinda sad you didn't have more games to play but I'll definitely play any you make after that good work honestly.
